The kitchen of Hibiscus features Chef Sarah Kirnon's menu of bold and innovative Caribbean-Creole dishes – developed as a modern homage to flavors of her childhood in Barbados. The food is a patchwork of colors, textures and flavors, woven from the cuisines of Africa, Europe, Asia, India and South America. Everything is made with sustainable ingredients with a focus on local sources. Our modern, yet cozy 70-seat space is centrally located in the Oakland's burgeoning Uptown neighborhood.
