Marco Hidalgo discovered a natural passion for tailoring early on in life while working with his uncle and cousins in Ecuador. Then at the age of 24, with his new found knowledge and expertise he came to London to make his mark.Having started out at Norton and Sons in Savile Row, Marco mastered his trade and gained valuable experience from their master tailors. Then by the end of the 1980's, he had become self-employed for Austin Reed and Burberry.Ten years later, Marco joined forces with his brother Ramon Hidalgo. Together they then started to work with Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Armani, Zegna, Aquascutum, Max Mara, Hackett, Joseph, Rochester Big & Tall, Dunhill, Rosetti and Jitrois along with many others.Over the years, the Hidalgo Brothers have developed an exceptional reputation for delivering quality and efficient service. Their suits, both bespoke and made to measure, are competitively priced and include any combination of lining and buttons (with the exception of the Holland and Sherry Gold collection). In 2007 they launched Hidalgo Brothers in Savile Row, and continue to be known as some of the most exceptional tailors in London. The shop continues to be very popular among young business owners and established professionals, as well as clients in various industries. One of the many reasons why clients choose the Hidalgo Brothers is really simple: they want to look as good and as sharp as possible while they continue with their personal and professional pursuits. The standards are high in Savile Row, and to be considered one of the best tailors in the world is an honor which the Hidalgos proudly strive for with each bespoke garment produced. In fact, among those who offer bespoke work in Savile Row, only Marco Hidalgo works with fur and leather at an expert level. This is one of the many reasons why brands like Tom Ford, Zegna, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and Dunhill trust the Hidalgos for alterations. The two brothers and the shop's team of tailors simply aim to provide each client with the best tailoring experience and customer service possible. All of the fabrics used for made-to-measure suits and shirts come from England and Scotland, with some Italian cloths and linings used depending on the work required and the client's preference.
