Hideaway Co. are a site specific high end glamping getaway and this season we are nestled in the rolling hills of Western MarylandHideaway Co. is the product of discovery in uncertain times. When travel became restricted as a result of the pandemic, and people had no place to safely relax and recharge; I became inspired by the hidden beauty of our regional landscape. What if we could take the elusive glamping concept from the American West and Europe and introduce it to our own rolling hills. Calling on my experience from both the film and hospitality industries, I was able to bring a team of experts together for a successful pop up last October, in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania.Our 2021 season kicks off with Memorial Day weekend and ends with the foliage in early October.Our team has partnered with a cidery and flower farm in Accident, Maryland to create a tent spotted wheat field made for guests to dream and imagine new beginnings. Meandering paths lead to personal massage appointments, artisan lead classes, group yoga, and curated excursions around the countryside. Guests are offered cleanly outfitted premium tents, beautifully appointed teak bathroom tents, and exquisitely prepared cocktails and wine to pair with a chef prepared meal.
