The Technopole of Forlì-Cesena is one of the 10 official hubs of the High-Technology Network of Emilia-Romagna Region (Technopoles' Network), Italy and serves as a gate within the regional Network of Technopoles for an area (NUTS3 Forlì-Cesena) of 400 thousand inhabitants, 40 thousand enterprises, 2 university campuses (University of Bologna) and several R&D laboratories and public and private Research and Technology Organizations (RTO).Our mission is to ensure that the infrastructures and competences of R&D labs from the University of Bologna and other RTOs in Emilia-Romagna are conveyed towards the innovation needs of firms (from startups to large enterprises). To this purpose we coordinate tech-transfer activities, innovation dissemination projects, technology scouting initiatives.The Technopole of Forlì-Cesena is a special gate to the R&D infrastructures and competences of the University of Bologna. We specialise in tech transfer activities regarding: aerospace and aviation, IoT and Big data, augmented reality, research on agriculture and food and circular economy solutions.
