Higher Education Service Centre (HESC) is a provocatively engaging system that facilitates access to higher education for students, professionals and entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities and developing countries through ‘massive open online courses' (MOOC). The impetus for such a project stems from the desire to harness the power of technology to solve intractable problems, and augment socioeconomic standards on a wide scale. Access to education provided in a low-cost, supported, systemic framework is disruptive by nature. It accelerates awareness, and creates skill-sets that unlock and empower our greatest asset.
