The Higher School of Finance and Management (SHFM) established in 1992 is one of Russia's top business schools. It is a subdivision of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, a leading Russian institution of higher education. The Academy is a state establishment that has the authority to award state MBA, Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. It plans to achieve these objectives by training managers that will meet the strictest international requirements in terms of theoretical knowledge, qualification and practical skills. The School trains general managers, financial and operational managers for the real sector of the economy, as well as CEOs, COOs and CFOs both for public and private companies providing them with profound and practically oriented managerial and financial knowledge and skills fully meeting the demands of the generally recognized standards of financial management and value-based management.
