In the Bohemian Alps of Iowa, on one of the highest hills in the county, a seed was planted in an adventurous young heart. I knew in my soul there was more to life than what the confines of my rolling rural neighborhood had to offer & fashion was my escape. Being the same as everyone else was never my strong suit, so I sought out clothing at the thrifts, my dad's closet & local garage sales to achieve my personal style. Higher than the Hills was born out of a love for scouring the nooks & crannies that hold unique treasures & a longing to share these incredible lost gems. Higher than the Hills offers an eclectic array of vintage, re-worked, pre-loved & original pieces hand selected & styled for the uncommon girl who craves individuality. Built with my own closet in mind; there is something for the adventurous, romantic, mysterious, whimsical, glamorous & everything in between.
