The HiLite is the award-winning student newsmagazine of Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. It has a press run of over 5,000 readers, being distributed to Carmel students and faculty every month. Copies are also available at the District Educational Services Center, city hall, the Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel public library and the three middle schools. The paper serves as a public forum and two-way communication for both the school and the community. Opinions expressed in the newspaper are not necessarily representative of those of CHS, the Carmel Clay system faculty, staff or administration.
