The products have an extensive installed base in safety and non-safety related applications in nuclear power plants utilizing either pressurized-water or boiling-water type reactors.Founded outside of Pittsburgh, PA, USA in 1950 as the Ralph A. Hiller Company, the initial focus was distribution of various flow control products. The business quickly evolved to design and supply of the first actuation products for the commercial nuclear power industry in 1966.
