HIMABINTRA (HIMPUNAN MAHASISWA BISNIS INTERNASIONAL) or as known as IBM Student Council is a student-run organization in International Business Management program at Petra Christian University. We are here to provide students with a positive environment and various activities-events in which it will help students to grow in their leadership skills (soft-skills) but at the same time create an impact to their communities.Some of our big events which are known in the scale of Surabaya, East Java are:1.) Business Competition (Held Annually every January/February, Claimed to be the largest business competition in Surabaya with a total price of IDR 18 Million) (In 2018, we are able to raise an event with a 10% rate of increase in terms of participation numbers from the previous year)2.) Professional Talk (Held Annually every March/April, Claimed to be the only International Seminar that involves professional speaker around the world; - 2015 Speaker: David Wee (Founder & CEO, DW ASSOCIATES PTE LTD)- 2016 Speaker: Subiakto Priosoedarsono (Slogan Creator of Kopiko and one of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Campaign Creator)- 2017 Speaker: Tjahyono Haryono (Managing Director of PT. Sekar Lestari which is FINNA Group) - 2018 Speaker: Fung Fuk Lestario (CEO Rupawa, Co-Founder Lazada)3.) International Business Enigma (Held Annually every August, Claimed to be the first Code-Breaking Competition in Indonesia that involves riddles and puzzles to be solved with the purpose of shaping a structured and out-of-the-box thinking for High School Students and develop their creativity and curiosity in coping up in the increasingly volatile business environment)
