Hirst Landscape Architects is a well-established Landscape Institute Registered Practice, based in Glasgow, with more than 30 years' standing.The Practice has experience and expertise in education projects, healthcare and leisure developments and a wide range of commercial enterprises, including large scale business parks. We have also been involved with numerous projects in the public realm, which have included city centre civic spaces as well as urban regeneration initiatives. We are familiar with all manner of procurement which includes traditional contracts as well as Design and Build initiatives.The Practice maintains a strong design ethos and is committed to the creation of robust, sustainable landscapes. We operate equally effectively in the role of Design Team Lead, or as members of broader Design Teams, where we collaborate effectively with the other professional construction disciplines. We engage fully from the outset of a commission and assume a pro-active role, adopting where we can, ownership of the external works, co-ordinating the contribution of others.
