Hisi Studio is a Kenyan lifestyle and fashion brand. That makes adaptive universally viable clothing and bags.The word Hisi is Swahili meaning feel. Our work is inspired by the belief that"The less we see with our eyes, the more we see with our hearts".Ours is a user-centered design approach. We explore inclusive design that leverages, rethinks, and includes the needs of the visually impaired fashion consumers: creating a more holistic sensorial experience.We draw inspiration from the vibrant social and cultural mosaic of the African people expressed through various art-forms,their stories and experiences.As a brand we champion innovation through assistive technology and digitalfabrication.
