Our MissionHREC was founded in 1996 by a group of Hispanic American and migrant workers, managers, professionals and students who want to see real changes leading to equal access for those of us in the real estate and constructing industry, and other related businesses. Equal access produces prosperity and with that the opportunity to stay connected to our heritage and deep roots in the community.ADVOCACY FOR US BY USHREC has met frequently with federal, state and local government officials such as the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), the United States Department of Transportation, the New York and New Jersey Port Authority and New York City Housing Authority to bring about reform in contract procurement procedures.BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT ... ●One of the most active and vocal business advocacy organizations in the State of New York and in the nation. ●Wide network of resources and our members enjoy an active calendar of networking events●HREC works with other organizations to provide members with access to up-to-the-minute building techniques, credentials and certifications.●HREC is a proud charter member of the widely renowned National Hispanic Construction Association. ●Join us and become part of a team of construction business owners, professionals, managers and students that are impacting the economic vitality of our communities all over the United States.
