The Hitchcock Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit organization existing to promote job growth through recruitment and retention services. The EDC was founded as a 4A Corporation, utilizing a ½ cent sales tax that was approved by the voters of Hitchcock. Its administration is led by its five member board and its staff. Hitchcock offers prime locations along Hwy 6 and FM 2004 with easy access to both the Port of Galveston and the Port of Houston.
