HitMaker Studios and Thousand Words Productions are the brainchild of Jon Olb. With 20+ years of experience in the Australian Television industry directing, producing and writing, Jon identified the need for a creative space to enable a variety of productions in a rapidly changing multimedia environment. Jon has created a purpose-built production hub that has recognised the future of Australian broadcast video content. The business is specifically designed to cater for medium sized productions with limited crew and resources, in which our studios and production facilities include integrated edit suites, dedicated vision and audio control rooms, a "medium sized" sound stage, a smaller acoustically treated "chat studio", and office space for itinerant and short-term productions. HitMaker Studios offer Studio Hire, Film and Television Production, Advertising, Internet Video Content Production, Post-Production, Satellite Services, Production Offices, Photo-Shoots with a twin chroma green and white cyclorama. Located in Port Melbourne, just five minutes from Docklands, South Melbourne, and the CBD, HitMaker Studios is a unique venue servicing the professional Television, Film, Music and Photographic industries. Thousand Words Productions is housed at HitMaker Studios allowing us to produce in-house premium content for advertisers who want to showcase their brand across digital, TV, cinema and mobile assets.
