Hive invests in the creative capital of artists and community, fostering artistic production as the cornerstone of creative regeneration and engagement with architecture and heritage.Hive supports a growing number of artists in London, running T1+2 Gallery and Hive Projects. Its programme has included artists residencies at 276 Vauxhall Bridge Rd, Victoria, SW1 and Greatorex Street in Whitechapel E1. Hive is currently runs La Ruche, a five-storey project which houses 30 artist studios, exhibition spaces and workshops in Whitechapel E1. Further projects are planned in partnership with The City of London Corporation as part of a 5-year urban redevelopment scheme and sites outside London in collaboration with architectural heritage organisations.The Beehive is a potent symbol of enterprise, design, sustainability and community – Hive's ‘collective' structure as an organisation reflects this in it's commitment to its ongoing Creative and Cultural Leadership programme.It offers mentor-led apprenticeships and development through the sharing and exchange of skills to artists; bridging communities across boroughs.Hive works in partnership with leading companies and organisations. Aligning Art and Industry Hive is collaborating with architects, urban designers, cultural researchers and practitioners, councils and schools.
