Jelastic is a producer of the next generation Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for Java developers and hosting service providers. Jelastic: * Is available from multiple service providers globally: if you are a Java developers you get freedom of choice, if you are a hosting service provider - you can get a competitive cloud of your own. * Runs any Java app: That's right - just upload your application and we will run it for you - you don't have to make any code changes, change your programming language, or write to our APIs. Jelastic supports any JVM-based application including pure Java, JRuby, Scala and Groovy. * Scales vertically: When your application needs more RAM or CPU we'll automatically add them. When your application no longer needs these resources we'll automatically recycle them to save your costs. You don't have to do anything. We do the magic on our side for you. * Zero lock-in: We just run your Java code - if you don't like your Jelastic experience you can take your code and run it elsewhere. * It's cheaper than anyone else: We use virtualization base on containers for our platform's underlying virtual operating system. This makes our hosting solution much more efficient than first-generation virtual machine-based clouds.
