Hiwar Center for Studies and Research is a Syrian intellectual research institution concerned in publishing extended and deep objective studies focused on the Syrian issue with all its aspects and scopes; economic, social, political, intellectual, and literary. Hiwar Center aims at analyzing Syria's current state and studying its historical contexts, in addition to providing future invisualizations to contribute to the building of a better Syrian future through the center's academic and scientific research. Hiwar Center starts from the fact that building a clear future for Syria cannot be executed in isolation from a real, objective and neutral diagnosis for our current situation, tracking the reasons that led to it and extracting morals and lessons out of it. In this cause, Hiwar center depends on a group of Arab and foreign researchers, experts, and thinkers, in addition to a wide network of observers and analysts both inside and outside Syria. The center publishes research and reports in both Arabic and English and available to the public either via the website or through the center's periodical publications. The center's activity is not exclusive to analytical studies only; it also aims at adopting a culture of constructive dialogue and active participation through conducting symposiums, workshops, and public meetings in different areas in Syria and other Syrian-populated countries around the world.
