The HLA Lacrosse Foundation was established in 1993 to promote, improve and extend the women's youth lacrosse experience across the Nation. We have multiple current commitments with the largest being the major sponsor for the annual US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament which hosts over 80 elite teams from across the country and to select and honor the most outstanding schoolgirl lacrosse player at the Tournament. The HLA National Schoolgirl Award is presented every year, the girls name added to the elite list of past recipients and is prominently displayed in the Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The Foundation partnered in 2001 with US Lacrosse and the Women's Division National Tournament and committed its support for as long as the tournament exists. In 2009 we created the HLA Clinics and Camps which are hosted Nationally and coached by past and present HLA recipients, finalists and elite NCAA players. This same year we also established Team HLA, all star select travel teams entered in tournaments across the country. The Foundation is always looking and open to suggestions on how to help and extend the women's youth lacrosse experience.Created in the honor of Heather Leigh Albert 1972 - 1993
