Ten years as director of community associations (HOAs) for a national home builder uniquely qualifies me as a consultant to prevent and resolve the full range of HOA issues and serve as an expert witness. I am President/CEO of my own company, HOA DVD. My services are available under a retainer/hourly rate or on a longer term contract basis as appropriate. My experience helps me identify issues with potential to create HOA disputes. I help avert and resolve potential HOA conflicts by recommending best practices and solutions all parties may agree upon. Current "Epic Wins" - (these involve mature homeowner controlled HOAs)• Resolved a homeowner vs. HOA architectural approval issue where HOA board errors exposed them to likely litigation. HOA and homeowner agreed on a settlement suggested in my review and recommendations letter thereby avoiding greater costs and litigation. • Consulting on a significant homeowner vs. HOA water intrusion from common area issue.
