Medical imaging is still a lengthy process. Similar to regular photography, medical images become blurred or show other artifacts when the patient moves while an image is being formed.These motion artifacts can lead to images that are difficult for a radiologist to interpret, which ultimately may lead to equivocal diagnostic results or require repeat studies.
