The Practice, originally founded in 1922 by Reuben Holbrow in Birmingham had, by the 1980's also opened offices in Sandwell and Lichfield in Staffordshire. In 1992 the Practice consolidated all three offices into purpose built accommodation on Woodgate Business Park in South West Birmingham close to the M5 and M5/M6 interchange. In October 2004 the Practice became a Limited Liability Partnership, Holbrow Brookes LLP, trading as Holbrow Brookes Construction Consultants. The Practice is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The present Partners are John Cooper and Paul Kinsella.
