Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department is the largest of the four fire departments serving Plum Borough & surrounding communities in Allegheny & Westmoreland Counties. Our department is staffed entirely by dedicated, trained volunteers and include firefighting, vehicle rescue, swift water rescue, and quick response emergency medical care.Plum Borough is located in eastern Allegheny County, approximately 13 miles east of the City of Pittsburgh, in western Pennsylvania. It is the second largest borough in the state comprising 29 square miles of land. Plum has a population of 40,000 residents and has several new housing developments in the construction status.Holiday Park VFD is certified by PA Dept of Health as a EMS Agency and Educational Sponsor Agency, allowing us to conduct/host EMS training.Our EMS Operations are recognized at the "Master" level by the 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, created by the Pennsylvania EMS for Children program, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS. This is a multi-tiered recognition program for EMS agencies who establish programs and standards to improve their capabilities to deliver care to pediatrics. 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘘𝘙𝘚/𝘌𝘔𝘚 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮.
