Hollis Montessori School is a private school serving ages 3 through 9th grade in a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient 14,000 square foot facility on a beautiful campus of orchards, fields, and forest.At the heart of our school is the philosophy of Maria Montessori, whose educational method has proven successful for more than a century in tens of thousands of schools around the world. Hollis Montessori is the only school in New Hampshire to be recognized by Association Montessori International, which was created in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori to oversee teacher training and to preserve the integrity of her life's work. This organization is considered the original, most authentic form of Montessori attainable and requires the most rigorous training for teachers and the highest standards for schools.
