Holy Ghost Catholic School views parents as the primary persons in teaching children about values and spirituality while providing opportunities for the parents to be involved in the education of their children. The school has implemented a systematic communication process that allows for two-way communication between parents and teachers concerning student performance through its information management system, Sycamore Education.Our Service Learning Program provides opportunities for students to develop and enhance concepts and skills across the curriculum. Student participation in service exemplifies "Walking in the footsteps of Jesus". The school leadership and faculty have fully embraced the spirit of con tinuous improvement and use external methods of evaluation to help guide actions. Through the process of continuous improvement, HGCS earned the "Blue Ribbon School of Excellence" recognition by the US Department of Education in 2009. The philosophy of Holy Ghost Catholic School in general, and the religious education program specifically, is to show one another the love of Christ by preparing students to serve others, learning about Jesus through Scripture, participating in meaningful prayer and worship and forming community as Jesus did.
