2021 Facebook Community Accelerator Program ParticipantHome Buddies was created in 2020 to help Filipinos cope with life in lockdown. At 3 Million strong, it is now the largest home enthusiasts group in the Philippines– a safe and inspiring space where people exchange home improvement tips, learn creative DIYs, and find answers to common house problems. In just one year, it was able to generate over 4 Million Pesos ($80,000 USD) worth of support for its members, including home makeovers, appliances and furniture upgrades, professional consultations, livelihood opportunities, etc. And more than just a community, Home Buddies has become a movement that empowers Filipinos to improve their homes for a better tomorrow.
