Acquaint is a community of volunteers who engage in cultural networking to build global solidarity and social cohesion. Volunteers connect one-on-one via the Acquaint platform (https://www.acquaint.org), and a series of virtual experiences serve as icebreakers for conversation. The goal of every conversation is to actively listen, learn, and share with people across all walks of life. To date, Acquaint is the easiest way to connect people who are rich, poor, young, old, sheltered, embattled, privileged, or marginalized, in a safe way that opens everyone's eyes to new perspectives.Currently hundreds of Acquaint volunteers reside in dozens of countries (and growing). The more people we can inspire to engage in cultural networking, the more peaceful and collaborative the world will be.
