Homefab is a local company situated in Mareeba, which is in a prime location to supply to the northern remote regions of the country. We are a fabrication company, specialising in custom design, manufacturing, delivery to site of prefabricated steel building components for the building and construction Industry, within all cyclonic regions of Australia. Our skill base ranges from the project concept, project estimating, project drawings and engineering, fabrication of housing components, custom designed sheds, custom designed carports, all manner of renovations and extensions, and dispatch drawings for assembly on site.We are now introducing additional services of a supply and install service for our fabricated components and materials supplied to lock up stage.Homefab was established in 1989 to provide a quality Cyclone Rated, prefabricated steel framing system to the residential building and low-rise construction industry in Far North Queensland, specialising in services to the remote communities throughout Cape York.Homefab's market area includes all Cyclone Regions in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Homefab is committed to providing a prefabricated framing product that enables an efficient, safe, well planned site installation process, we understand the Government's requirements for the design and construction standards – including for Remote Indigenous Housing and can initiate the design concepts to meet the various council's needs. Our experience (over the last 30 years), has put us in good stead to offer energy efficient, low maintenance, and cost-effective designs. Homefab has had previous experience in many differing locations throughout the cyclone Regions of Qld /NT and WA, as well as northern islands, in which we have supplied robust building products that are suited to the location and the climate.
