Homer Investments Details
Homer Investments is a growing strategic asset company based in Calgary, Alberta. It was established initially by the Brookman family and Irene Price, a principal shareholder of West Canadian Digital Imaging, to acquire a building to host the expanding West Canadian business in Calgary's Inglewood neighbourhood. That acquisition was completed successfully in 2008 and since then Homer, with Price as President, has further diversified its asset holdings and expanded into new geography. Recent investments include a unique start-up commercial lighting company in Toronto, Ontario; a skiing/hiking lodge in Alberta's Kananaskis Country; and a growing art collection. Future plans include additional investments in innovative start-up companies and the exploration of providing micro-loans to select individuals and small businesses.
