Homestead for Youth (H4Y) is a West Australian organisation committed to empowering young people who are at risk, along with their families. Our mission is to provide care and compassion through residential services, mentoring, counselling, holistic therapies and psychology care from our small farm located in Meelon, WA. Since 2014, our farm has acted as a warm, homely refuge to bring a sense of safety and restoration to young people and families in need. Some of our programs include: - Residential Recovery Program - Equine Therapy- Art Therapy - Animal and Sensory Therapies- Combi Restoration Programs- Farming Programs- Mentoring, Counselling and PsychologyThanks to our dedicated Board members, along with the generous support of volunteers and the WA community, we have been able touch the lives of hundreds of people through our services. We believe that by working together, we can change the story around youth suicide and fill the gaps in our country's youth development and mental health systems.
