Honayda brand was founded in 2016 in Beirut, specializing in ready to wear, with a bridal line.The brand has been showcasing its collections ever since, each season during Paris Fashion Week and is distributed in multi-brand boutiques across several countries. Honayda Serafi's - founder and creative director- profound passion for the culture and traditions of her homeland, Saudi Arabia, is strongly communicated in her designs. Each of Honayda's designs is infused with meaning and symbolism, celebrating women in all their diversity. Nature – the giver of life – is another key source of inspiration for her, who roots her creations in the intangible beauty of the elements. She combines these timeless references with contemporary cuts and fabrics that appeal to today's women's desires when it comes to fashion design, keeping the collections current and of the moment.Her signature lies in the techniques used for embroidery and prints each season. The inspiration of the collections is translated into 3D embroidery elements and home-created prints.‘Honayda' is the Arabic word for a sword's sheath, symbolizing the combination of strength and protection that appropriately sum up the designer's outlook on life and business alike.
