Honduran Sourced Coffee Co. Was formed to provide Honduran green bean coffee to roasters across the world.We provide roasters with the highest quality coffee beans, this is achieved through a laser selection process, then subjected to european preparation or a "hand selection process". This insures only the best beans are chosen and delivered.We pride ourselves on offering a service that is in keeping with our core values; Fair trade, sustainability, ethical farming and protecting the environment. This is proven with our UTZ Certification. UTZ Certified is the largest program for sustainable farming of coffee and cocoa in the world. The UTZ Certified program covers good agricultural practices, farm management, social and living conditions, and the environment.At HSCC We work to build long-lasting working relationships with clients. This is achieved through building personal relationships; we are a human based company. From the farmers to their families or our clients and anyone in between we are fair, open and honest. We believe this approach allows us to achieve the best, most reliable and fast-acting service. We export 3 different green bean coffees:HG EP (High Grown, European Preparation) - grown at an altitude around 1200 Metres Above Sea Level (MASL).SHG EP (Strictly High Grown, European Preparation) - grown at an altitude around 1350 Metres Above Sea Level (MASL).SHG EP Speciality (Strictly High Grown Speciality, European Preparation) grown at an altitude between 1400-1700 Metres Above Sea Level (MASL). This is a speciality bean due to it being a larger bean, grown at a higher altitude.Coffee grown at a higher altitude and lower temperature produces a slower maturing fruit and a denser bean; which creates a more desirable cup.
