Honest 2nd Opinion (H2O), is an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Second Opinion service, created by Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Orthopedic professionals. The operating philosophy of H2O is founded in our very simple approach to providing unsurpassed Orthopedic care.1) Every patient deserves to be listened to, allowing them to tell their story.2) The recovery goals and expectations shared by the patient should guide the creation of the treatment plan.3) Every patient should be presented with and fully understand, no less than 3 treatment options for their specific issue.4) The patient should be assisted through a decision making process, based on options and the science behind these options, when choosing their personalized treatment plan.5) All questions should be answered, understood, and supported with accessible educational information. This information is to be used at the patients convenience, as they progress through their recovery.H2O utilizes an online approach to eliminate the most commonly reported issues of a clinical setting:1) The patient schedules their own appointment at a time that works for them, utilizing our personalized online scheduling system. 2) The patient is assigned an "H2O Care Coordinator", who will contact them at the scheduled time.3) Between 30-45 minutes are dedicated to the "Initial Intake Visit", allowing for the patient to clearly and completely state the entirety of their Orthopedic issue, their recovery goals and expectations.4) The "H2O Orthopedic Team" will review and discuss all information gathered at the "Initial Intake Visit", X-Ray, MRI, C-T Scan and all pertinent information, in the formation of our "Honest Opinion"5) A 15 minute "Follow-up" call will be scheduled to present, discuss & educate the patient regarding the H2O Teams Honest Opinion, regarding the treatment plan that will have the best chance of successfully reaching the patients recovery goals and expectations.
