HONOR FLIGHT OF SOUTHERN COLORADO Details
Honor Flight of Southern Colorado launched with the intent of sending our Southern Colorado Veterans to Washington D.C. We are a mix of both the military and civilian community dedicated giving back and to transporting as many of our approximately 23,000 Veterans to THEIR memorials. At this time, we welcome WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans. Please don't let any veteran say "I didn't do anything, I was just…." ALL of these veterans are important! We are also in need of volunteers and Guardians from all walks of life that care about veterans. We cover Colorado south of Monument pass, to Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah. Most of our emphasis is in Custer, el Paso, Fremont, and Pueblo counties right now. We welcome anyone in our region, and will help anyone with a question. Our goal is to work with Veteran groups, civil groups and organizations, and other groups active in their communities.
