Medical Practice - Oegstgeest, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands
The Dutch High Altitude Medicine Group was founded in 2004 in Nijmegen by a number of doctors interested in altitude. The aim of the group is to make specific altitude-related medical knowledge accessible, and to gather knowledge about problems that arise at and/or through altitude. The group has been transformed into the "Maatschap Hoogtegeneeskunde Nederland". The partnership consists of two partners. The objective remains the same, with additional (expedition) support from the Netherlands. These members also serve on the Medical Committee of the Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Association (NKBV) and are faculty members of Outdoor Medicine.
