Nonprofit Organization Management - Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands
The Holland Program on Entrepreneurship (HOPE) is a collaboration between the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Technical University Delft and Leiden University. HOPE stimulates entrepreneurship in the region of South Holland and tries to connect academic knowledge from the universities with the practical skills necessary for successful entrepreneurship. Together with different strategic partners (e.g., ABN Amro, PwC, Roland Berger consultancy), HOPE develops numerous programs and events that bring out the entrepreneur in everyone. In 2010, HOPE organized over forty events, with approximately 10,000 total participants. Over 32 starting entrepreneurs participated in our ‘Get Started' pre-incubation program, and 16 entrepreneurs with growth ambitions joined the ‘Accelerator' program managed together with the Entrepreneurs' Organization. Participation in the Accelerator program has doubled in 2011. In November 2010, HOPE hosted the Dutch edition of the Global Entrepreneur Week (GEW), a worldwide initiative focused on entrepreneurship outreach. For our efforts, we took home the GEW Award for Country of the Year 2010. These are just a few examples from HOPE's full agenda. We are able to provide such high-quality programs and events thanks to our dedicated staff – a small group of creative and persistent people who hold the flag of entrepreneurship high. Together we make groundbreaking entrepreneurship in South Holland possible. For more information, visit www.getstarted.nl
