We're a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope to those effected by Hansen's disease through providing basic needs, medical care and micro-financing. We do this through activities focused in three key areas:\\MEETING BASIC NEEDS\\Providing the basic necessities of life, including:\\Food\Housing\Medicine\Medical supplies\Tuition for children's education\Water cisterns, filtration, and pumps\ \\FINANCING NEW BUSINESSES\\Providing microfinancing to help fund and support the entrepreneurial spirit for new businesses such as:\\Bangle stores\Bicycle repair shops\General stores\Farming\Rickshaws\ \\PARTNERING WITH THE MEDICAL/ MEDICAL RESEARCH COMMUNITY\\Building relationships with medical practitioners and medical researchers to:\\Create awareness of the colonies we support\Understand the latest research and treatments\Assist in Hansen's Disease research
