The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to help improve the lives of chronically/terminally ill children. The foundation provides grants and other services to support the goal of improving the lives of chronically/terminally ill children and their families.The mission of the H.F.M.V. is to generate and solicit funds in order to help better the lives of those in need. With money raised from donations and various special events staged throughout the year, the foundation is able to provide grants of up to $5,000. The Hope Foundation runs solely on the gracious work of its volunteers and the generous donations from individuals, organizations and companies. The organization is entirely volunteer and we are extremely thankful to all of our donors and volunteers for without their support the Foundation would not be able to realize its goals or mission.The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley was founded in 2007 after the increasing success and popularity of the Game of Hope Charity Basketball Classic; a fundraising event begun in 2005. Over the years the Game of Hope has turned into one of the fastest growing charity events in the Mahoning Valley, creating community interest and support by featuring local celebrities, dignitaries and community leaders on teams that compete against each other in a basketball game at Youngstown State University's Beeghly Center. Since 2005, the Game of Hope and H.F.M.V. has raised over $90,000 for the chronically and terminally ill children of the area.Aside from all donations being tax-deductible, your donation will help the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley continue its goals and all of which help raise money to help better the lives of terminally or chronically ill children."It's All For the Kids!"
