Hope's 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary will house the pets of domestic violence survivors while the survivors are either in shelters or looking for a better environment. Hope's 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary will provide a temporary, safe, loving, and free space for pets, letting survivors know that their animals are well cared for so they can focus on improving their given situation. The work will be done through partnerships between Hope's 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary and domestic violence shelters, law enforcement, advocates, and volunteers that work with survivors. Survivors will never have to drop off or pick up their animals from Hope's 2nd Chance's location in order to keep the sanctuary a safe place as well as to provide comfort and ease to the survivor.
