For a project to meet it's investment return, it must have a successful start up and production ramp up. Commissioning planning and execution together with the project execution team helps deliver an effective start up. Preparing the operations team to accept the handover is also a critical activity. Operations Readiness is a proven method to ensure the operations team has the people, tools, and processes to quickly meet the planned ramp up curve. Once started, changes will always need to be made. De-bottlenecking and process improvement activities need to be targeted on the issue and quickly resolved for an effectiveramp up.
