In master-planning Horizon Hills, land and waterway preservation are prioritised, resulting in close to 40% of the township being dedicated to natural ponds and streams that have become the habitat for fish and wildlife which also helps to create a cooler environment. Selected areas were preserved for the secondary forest, relocated and replanted oil palm trees to the golf course. In addition, there are themed gardens, parks and dedicated cycling lane for residents to enjoy the great outdoors.
