Hospital Services Support Foundation is a California-based non-profit organization that strives to alleviate human suffering in Sri Lanka's rural government hospitals by collecting and shipping medical equipment (stretchers, wheelchairs, etc) received via donations from the USA. We are a federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.Our entire organization from the board of directors to the staff generously volunteer their time, skills, and connections without monetary compensation. The equipment we collect and ship goes to the Hospital Services Council (HSC) in Sri Lanka which was founded back in 1984 as a government-approved charity headquartered within the premises of The National Hospital of Sri Lanka in Colombo.
