Hosteling International Israel previously known as the Israel Youth Hostel Association (IYHA) was founded in 1937 as a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Educationâs Youth and Social Administration. Its main areas of activity are hosteling, tourism and tour-guiding. Goals 1. We provide accommodation, tour guides, hosteling and other tourist services, catered to individuals, families and groups alike and always at affordable prices. 2. We share our expertise and passion for Israel and celebrate its diversity by giving seminars on social, educational and environmental issues. Guest House Network HI - Israel (IYHA) has hostels across the whole of Israel, from Eliat in the south up to Tel Hai in the north â in large cities, the countryside and near main tourist sites.
