Hospitality - Carpi, Emilia-Romagna, Italy
The luxury 4 stars Touring Hotel belong to the family of Anna Molinari, designer and holder of Blufin group (which in turn created designer labels Blumarine and Blugirl). Completely restructured in 2003 and last renovated in 2010 and 2012 the hotel has ensured that it remains the premier hotel in Carpi. Carpi is known throughout Europe for its clothing and textiles manufacturing industry. The Carpi district in fact plays a key role on the Italian fashion scene, with more than fifty factory outlets and outlet stores with the top designer labels to be found in the area (Liu-Jo, Gaudì, Champion, Denny Rose, Twin-Set, Fujiko....).As well as the many fashion-related events cultural programmes and fairs are also organised in this town in the Modena area from which regional craft products can be purchased. The Hotel is very central located, only a few steps from the Piazza Martiri, one of the biggest square's Italy, with the Palazzo dei Pio (called the Castle) and other historical buildings and churches.Carpi is not far away from Mantua, Verona, Parma, Bologna, Modena and Venice too and it could be a new, pleasant and unusual location as point of stay, where to start for visiting these beautiful Italian cities. The Restaurant attached to our Hotel "La Bottiglieria" is managed by the Chef Mattia Gualdi who is available to organize cooking lessons for small groups. we don't need to mention the Emiliana cookery: from the appetizer with "Gnocco fritto" to the dessert, culinary lovers can learn to cook a full menu of Emilia!
