Upon reaching 35,000 followers on Instagram in September 2020, Berkson expanded past hotels and launched "Destinations" and "Style" sections. Along with rapid growth, these additions brought a new diversification of articles to Hotels Above Par, leading Berkson to invite lauded freelance travel journalists to come write for the guide.
