Hotspot Global is an initiative addressing capacity gaps in the supply chain of the District Energy, Energy from Waste and Waste Management sectors by facilitating market access and match-making with local customers and partners, thereby reducing transaction costs. The overall mission is to facilitating market entry process, reducing costs to access new markets, speeding-up market entry processes, accelerating innovation and exchange of experiences, boosting capacity and choice in the supply chain and to attracting local investments and generate new jobs.We are currently developing the network of partners globally, and at each Hotspot. All partners must have operational experience from the energy sector and/or strong local and personal networks to key individuals in relevant companies, organisations and institutions We are gaining an ever-stronger momentum in these initiatives and now seek to involve some additional Nordic energy operators. Knowing that the Scandinavian countries remain as some of the most advanced markets in the world in developing and applying smart energy solutions, we would need to expand our resource base of peers from energy operators in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. This will be essential to strengthen our ability to become a global front runner in developing Smart City solutions. We have recently secured strong support from various public institutions across Europe and have now launched an initiative to engage best-in-class industrial partners to the Smart City cooperation.
