House of Harris is a family business run by the Harris' husband and wife team Chris and Charlotte (that's me!) and our three little helpers Emily, Chloe and Jack.Started in 2012 our online gift shop has grown from a small cupboard in our home in Devon, to our own warehouse where we prepare orders for thousands of customers a month across the UK and beyond. So….why did we start House of Harris?Like lots of young families we were faced with the decision of whether I should return to my office job and struggle to pay for two lots of nursery fees, or stay at home and not earn. The choice was financially obvious, so we decided to start our own business, but doing what? With 25 years worth of shop keeping experience from Chris' parents behind us, it seemed like the job was in his blood, so we took their advice (thank you Carole and Gerry!) and started our own online gift shop.Now we are proud to stock and deliver straight to your home some of the most well renowned brands with outstanding reputations including Yankee Candle, Willow Tree, Ashleigh & Burwood, Bomb Cosmetics and more. We are brimming with ideas for new products and ways to continue to grow, so watch this space, because we can't wait to share them with our customers!
