Dr. Howard Benditsky is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides problem focused, outcome oriented, psychotherapy services to both individuals and couples. He also performs psychological assessments. He sees adolescents and adults and has been in practice since 1978. He is licensed in Connecticut and Pennsylvania and has experience working with clients struggling with both psychiatric and substance abuse problems. He has extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Dr. Benditsky's philosophy of treatment conceptualizes his clients as central to the treatment process. Accordingly, he works closely with his clients to identify their problems and empowers them to view and understand their problems from a variety of perspectives. He works together with his clients, keeping them actively involved throughout the treatment process in the design and execution of treatment interventions aimed at resolving their problems.
