We at the Howard County Sports Center have lived in the community for over a decade, of which most of those years have involved the direct coaching, fostering, mentoring and development of youths with in our community. Over the years it became evident that there was a need for a place where the youths and young adults of the community could participate in various sporting activities. With our direct experience in the coaching and development of basketball with several youth organizations we noticed a shortage of facilities where by individuals and teams could develop the skills and enjoyment that comes with playing with and against their piers as well as neighboring communities.Upon this platform, we set out with the mission of building such a facility where by the youth and young adults of Central Maryland could participate in basketball, volleyball, wrestling, baseball an other sporting activities in a safe educational facility
