HQ Theatres & Hospitality (HQT&H) is a leading regional theatre, venue and hospitality/conference operator in the United Kingdom and is part of the Qdos Entertainment Group of Companies. Qdos Entertainment Limited is a privately held company, with founder and Chairman Nick Thomas as principal shareholder. HQT&H has a proven track record of successfully managing and operating theatres and other cultural venues with high-quality programmes, including multi-purpose venues with conference and events programmes, and currently operates 12 venues. The division’s freehold restaurants and accommodation businesses include the award-winning Copper Horse Restaurant and Cottages; The Mayfield Pub, Carvery and Rooms in Seamer; The Plough, Pub, Restaurant and Rooms in Scalby, near Scarborough and The Yew Tree cafe also in Scalby. Within HQT&H’s venues, registered charity the HQ Theatres Trust works with children and young people, through the provision of workshops, classes and performances, including Summer and Easter Youth Projects. Together with its sister company, Qdos Entertainment, HQT&H is proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital. Since 2010, audiences, along with HQT&H staff, have raised over £855,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity Theatres for Theatres Appeal.
